Q. How do I place an order?
You can order online using our easy to use shopping cart
Choose the products you want to order by browsing the site and clicking the 'Add To Cart' button on the relevant page.
View and modify Click on the 'View Cart' tab at any time during the shopping process to view or modify your selections. Each modification will recalculate your order costs.
Paying When you are ready to purchase your items, click the Paypal Checkout button on the cart page. This will take you to the Paypal Checkout pages to allow you to make your payment securely.
Use your debit/credit card to pay or if you have a paypal account you can pay through paypal too. It is NOT essential to have a paypal account to buy on our website.
Confirm and Pay for your order once you are happy with it.
Once we receive a confirmed order in our system we will send you a dispatch schedule by email. If you have had any problems during the online ordering process, visit the contact us page and please let us know what happened so we can make every effort to rectify the problem.

*Some products like our lamps, trays and art prints have special postage and packaging charges for the UK which are stated clearly on the item listing.
Q. How soon can I expect to receive my item
In the UK generally between 2-10 days. Specific delivery times are mentioned against each product as these can vary by item.
Q. Do you deliver within the EU?
We can deliver the following products to countries within the EU - Cushions, Throws, Tea Towels and Shopper Bags.
If you are based in the EU and would like to order from us please contact us with details of what you would like to buy. We will confirm your order and send you an invoice on email which you can pay just like any other online purchase using your credit card or paypal.

In general you should receive your item/s within 5-7 days of placing an order.
Q. Do you deliver anywhere else
At the moment we do not deliver outside the UK and EU
Q. What is your returns policy?
We hope you are delighted with your order but we do understand that sometimes you will want to return an item. Visit our contact us page and send us an email to let us know that you are returning an item, and the reason for returning it. Please quote your order/receipt number in this email.
We offer a 14 day money back guarantee provided the item is in its original packaging and in the same condition as the customer received it*. The 14-day money back guarantee commences from the date your order was placed. Please note any / all costs incurred through shipping are strictly non‐refundable and that the customer bears all return shipping costs.
You can post the item back to us by Royal Mail. We would recommend that you get a proof of postage from the post office when you do this.

*This return policy does not apply to made to order lamps bought on Plum Chutney unless the customer receives them in a damaged condition. Please see note below on damages for more information.
Q. How do I return a faulty or damaged item?
If an item is received in a damaged condition please notify Plum Chutney immediately. Visit our contact us page and send us an email to let us know that you have received a damaged item and please describe the damage.
We will reply with instructions for returning the product. We will ensure that we deal with your return as quickly as possible, and if necessary refund or replace your purchase once we receive the item back into stock. Any postage costs associated with returning your order will also be refunded.
Please note though if a customer signs for the goods on delivery and adds a note that they have not been checked - the goods will be deemed to have been accepted in good condition. So please ensure you thoroughly check your items for any damage at the point of delivery.
