Plum Chutney shares the limelight with Mughal Royalty

The much awaited 'Mughal Empire' exhibition at the British Library has opened to the public. A fantastic exploration of the culture, grandeur, literature, art and religion of possibly the most influential and wealthy Empires to flourish in the Indian subcontinent. What could be a more befitting backdrop for our exquisite 'Nizam's Jewels' collection which was unveiled at the British Library shop to coincide with the launch of the Mughal Empire exhibition.

Plum Chutney gets place of pride in Pulse 2012 promotional material

We could not have asked for a better start to the year. Due to exhibit at its second trade show, the fantastic Pulse in June 2012, Plum Chutney has been selected as one of the key brands being showcased by Pulse in their Home section in the show's publicity material this year. Check it out on the Pulse website! This comes on the heels of Plum Chutney cushions being handpicked by Creative Director of Top Drawer last September to be showcased in the VIP Indigo lounge alongside cushions by the very talented Nikki McWilliams and Helena Carrington! Plum Chutney goes to Top Drawer

Plum Chutney has been selected to participate at Top Drawer the UK's top most trade show for homeware, gifts and fashion. We are very excited and have been working furiously at developing 5 new collections of cushions for the show. We have sought inspiration from myriad sources including antique Indian jewelry which features in our collection 'The Nizam's Jewels' and stunning animal motifs which come to life in our fun and frilly 'Folk Tales' cushions. Maharaja scores with London gal!

We are delighted to announce that the 'Maharaja in his Darbar' cushion received the highest number of votes in our Plum Picks contest running through April. The lucky voter who will be receiving this stunning cushion absolutely free is Kal di Paola from London. Congratulations Kal and we hope you enjoy the new royal presence in your home. Many of you wrote in with lovely comments and votes for the Cherry-Mango lampshade and the Truck Talks art print too. These designs unfortunately did not reach the minimum threshold of 50 votes and so do not have any winning voters.Thanks so much to everyone who participated in the contest.

Plum Chutney announces its first public exhibition and sale in Bristol

Plum Chutney will be exhibiting its designs, from 3rd to 5th March, at Room 212 Gallery on Gloucester Road. Favourites from our Christmas collection will be featured and in addition there will be a whole new selection of stunning lamps, gorgeous hand quilted throws, eco-friendly cotton shoppers and fun tea towels.
